Christmas Eve Worship Services
Christmas Eve 5:00 PM Service is a retelling of the Great Mystery of Jesus’ Birth for children of all ages. Those that wish to participate will be dressed in costumes to enact the Readings of the Nativity. Come early (15-20 minutes) to give yourselves time to pick out your costume (costumes fit over your clothing or in some cases only masks are worn).
Christmas Eve 7:30 PM is a traditional service with lessons and carols. This candle lit service, the singing of “Silent Night” will offer us the opportunity to ponder the mystery of the true light that illumines the world, Christ our Saviour is born.
The Christ Mass 11:00 PM is most intimately experienced in the bread and wine of Holy Communion. This is the worship setting that gives this Holy Season its name, for it is the presence of Our Lord in the bread and wine of Holy Communion, or the “Mass,” that gives us hope and fills our lives. Our Lord came not only once, but continues to come and fill our lives with his presence. Come and celebrate the divine mystery of this night and embrace the majesty of God.
