Dear Parent(s) of a 3rd/4th Grade Sunday School Student,

When our children were baptized, one of the pledges we made as parents and as a congregation was to place the scriptures in the children’s hands.  It is our tradition here at St. Mark to give Bibles to all 3rd graders and also to 4th graders who did not receive a Bible last year.

A “Tour of the Bible”, led by Annette Walls, will take place on Sundays, March 8th, March 15th, and March 22nd, during the Sunday School Hour (9:45-10:45 AM) in the Chapel.  All parents are asked to attend these sessions with your child(ren).  Students will not take the Bibles home with them at this time.  The Bibles will be formally presented to the children on Sunday, March 29th, during both the 8:15 and 11:00 services.
