The Parish Life Ministry Committee seeks to meet various needs of the membership and support the work and enroll the assistance of the Stephen Ministry program. They offer meals to those who need them, under the direction of Peggy Anderson. They provide transportation to members who need it and visit members, at home or during hospital stays, in times of illness or difficulties to offer support and prayer. Several members have been trained to take Communion to members who are unable to attend regular worship services.
Parish Life also sends good wishes to those on the prayer list each week, and they send greetings to over 300 residents of nursing homes each Christmas.
The Parish Life ministers are happy to accept volunteers who would like to participate in their program of Christian service and support to the members of St. Mark.
