Here at St. Mark, we have numerous opportunities for
worship, education, and spiritual growth; but we also have opportunities for
fun and fellowship. Being in fellowship and community with one another
allows us to share the Gospel and learn from the experiences of others. We
invite you to join us!

Tea |
One of the annual traditions St. Mark offers is a
spring time fellowship tea. Join the ladies of the church for
a delightful afternoon tea with delicious savory and sweet treats. Hats
are encouraged! Purchase your tickets at Cafe St. Mark. Admission
is $5.00. Date of the affair: May 17, 2008 from 1:00

Power
in the Spirit |
Power in the Spirit, an annual event sponsored by
the Virginia Synod, will be held July 10-12 at Roanoke College in
Salem, VA. This years theme is "God Gives! We Care. We
Share." This gathering will be devoted to stewardship
in its widest scope: how we share the gifts of God in our various
callings-- as members of families, as workers, as citizens and volunteers,
as members of the church, and as inhabitants of God's beautiful,
and increasingly fragile, creation. We are called to become
channels of God's care in the world. Whether we are ten-talent
or one-talent Chrisitans, we are beckoned by God to invest and share
those talents-- as well as our time and money-- for the good of God's
