"Lutherans understand the church to be people, God's house of living stones... " - What we believe

There are numerous opportunities to join in a ministry or provide a helping hand to God's works.  Below are listed the ministries of St. Mark and opportunities of almost every kind to be a stone in God's house of living stones.

Volunteers Needed

Immediate and Upcoming Opportunities to be a "Stone in God's House"

--------------------------------

Wanted:  Volunteers are needed for approximately one hour on Sunday mornings to help in Cafe St. Mark.  Regular volunteers need help so that they may attend Sunday worship.  Contact Chef Connie Hildreth or Helen Travis if you are interested.
--------------------------------

Wanted:   Volunteers for Cafe' St. Mark, to set tables, arrange flowers, wait tables at Wednesday evening dinner, bus, prepare food, and cook.  This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to learn about the food service business and to wait tables!  Come on in and join the fun...those people in the kitchen have a good time.

--------------------------------
Wanted:  The Welcoming Committee is looking for new members with smiling faces for this coming year. Contact Helen Travis for more information.  This is a group of very warm and friendly people who enjoy helping out by supporting new groups, greeting guests on Sundays, cooking for New Members classes, and generally spreading the Light!
