There are numerous opportunities to join in a ministry or provide a helping hand to God's works. Below are listed the ministries of St. Mark and opportunities of almost every kind to be a stone in God's house of living stones.
Study Opportunities
Baptismal Classes - Holy Baptism classes will be offered February 24, March 2, 9, and 16, 2008, at 4:00 p.m.. Contact the church office to sign up. Baptism will be March 22 at the 7:30 p.m. Easter Vigil worship service. A nursery will be provided.
Confirmation Classes - Classes begin on September 30th, 2007. There will be an introductory meeting for parents and students on September 23rd at 5:00 p.m. Click here for more information.
First Communion Class - First Communion Classes will be held on March 30, April 6, and April 27 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Members of this class will receive their First Communion on Ascension Day, Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the 7:30 p.m. worship service. If your child is in second grade or above and would like to participate in this instruction, please contact the church office.

Inquirer's Class - Inquirer's classes for those interested in the Lutheran Church or others who are interested in joining the membership of St. Mark will be offered on Sundays April 27, and May 4 and 11, 2008, from 6:00-8:30 p.m with Pastor Erdos. Contact the church office to sign up. We will receive new members in worship on May 18, 2008. A nursery will be provided.
Adult Sunday School - Sundays, September through June at 9:45 a.m. - Genesis- "God Created a People" This class focuses on the story of creation in Genesis and leads students through the rest of Genesis. There is also a class focusing on the Gospel of Luke. More information and details on both of these course offerings can be found on this page.
Other Bible Studies - Wednesdays, September through May from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Click here for more information.
