Sunday Brunch

On Sunday mornings between 9:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. the Café serves a brunch. Examples of food on the menu are: eggs, bacon, sausage, omelettes, waffles, fresh fruits, breads, coffee, and juice. Stop by and have a wonderful breakfast and enjoy the fellowship with fellow members, visitors, and guests of St. Mark.

What's Cooking Wednesday

As a service to our parishoners attending various meetings and rehearsals on Wednesday night from September through May, we offer dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The meal is served restaurant style with a limited menu. Currently, we are serving nearly 60 members in the space of two hours. Bring your family and/or friends and stop by any Wednesday for dinner. Special children's menus are available. See the kiosk in the narthex to sign up. (Click here for this week's menu)

Each week we need 2 to 3 additional helpers as waitstaff and for dessert prep. For a fast-paced evening of fun, consider joining us every few weeks as a volunteer. Your meal will be on the house! We also aim to provide at least one homemade dessert selection each week. If you have a special dessert recipe, we need 16 servings and will offer you dinner on the house in exchange for your dessert. Contact Chef Connie Hildreth or email the Café to assist us on Wednesday evenings.

Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread is an outreach ministry of Café St. Mark.  Artisan bread is baked and sold on Wednesday nights at "What's Cooking Wednesday".  The profit made from the sale of bread is sent to the Refugio de los Sueños (Refuge of Dreams) in Quito, Ecuador, to support children living in poverty and neglect.

Refugio de los Sueños is a center for approximately 70 young children between 6-17 years of age that work and/or live in the streets of the city of Quito, Ecuador.  It offers educational opportunities with respect to wellbeing such as hygiene and nutrition, and it provides a place where the children can learn a meaningful trade to earn a living such as baking skills and carpentry.  These vocations will help the children realize their dreams (just as the name of the refuge suggests).
